TopShield PRO #15 EHD Fasteners are extra heavy duty screws for lap attachment to 18 to 22 gauge corrugated steel and wood substrates in higher wind uplift roof assemblies. The line spans twelve sizes from 2 in. to 24 in., in buckets or cartons ranging from 250 to 1000 pieces. A #2 double flute self-drilling point and tapered entry thread deliver fast penetration and strong back-out resistance.
Coverage & How Much You Need
Fastener count depends on wind uplift requirements, insulation thickness, and fastener pattern; determine pull-out and pull-over values per assembly, then divide plate count by the pack size (250, 500, or 1000 per bucket or carton). Longer 14-24 in. fasteners are for thick insulation over steel or wood decks.
Fit and Compatibility
Use with TopShield metal insulation plates MP-3000 and MPR-3000 (sold separately). Screws are sized to fasten through insulation into 18 to 22 gauge corrugated steel decks or wood substrates, so choose a length at least long enough for the required embedment through the deck.
