Tapcon Star Drive concrete anchor screws in blue Ultrashield finish tap their own threads into concrete, block, and masonry with no separate anchors or inserts. This line covers 3/16 in. and 1/4 in. diameters in lengths from 1-3/4 in. to 3-3/4 in., in 8-pack and 75-pack quantities. Star drive bits reduce cam-out for faster, cleaner installation.
Coverage & How Much You Need
One pack fastens as many points as it contains screws (8 or 75). Order one screw per attachment point and add roughly 10% for spares, choosing length for the substrate and attached material thickness.
Fit and Compatibility
For concrete, block, and masonry, including applications such as sill plates, shutters, screen doors, pool enclosures, and hurricane protection. Requires the proper carbide drill bit per Tapcon's instructions (bit not included).
