OMG Purlin Fasteners attach single-ply membrane systems to structural steel purlins (12-18 gauge) in standing seam metal roof retrofit applications. Available in 3.75 in., 4.75 in. and 5.75 in. lengths, sold 500 per box in mill finish. The 3/4 in. drill point bores through up to 12-gauge steel before the threads engage.
Coverage & How Much You Need
Each box of 500 fasteners supports the fastening density specified in the membrane system's uplift design. Choose length so the fastener penetrates the purlin a minimum of 1 in., including the standing seam and membrane assembly above it.
Fit and Compatibility
For single-ply membrane systems in standing seam metal roof retrofit applications, driven into structural steel purlins. Membrane, plates and insulation are sold separately; use a screw gun limited to 1800 RPM.
