OMG Polymer GypTec fasteners are glass-filled nylon auger fasteners with a 1 in. head designed to secure insulation and single-ply membrane to gypsum and cementitious wood fiber decks such as Insulrock, Permadeck, and Tectum. Sold by the box in lengths from 3 in. to 9 in., with 250 or 500 fasteners per box.
Coverage & How Much You Need
Each box holds 500 fasteners in the 3 through 7 in. lengths and 250 fasteners in the 9 in. length. Coverage depends on the specified fastener density; at a typical attachment pattern, a 500-count box covers a proportionate number of fastener positions.
Fit and Compatibility
Engineered specifically for gypsum and cementitious wood fiber decks such as Insulrock, Permadeck, and Tectum; it is not a metal-deck fastener. Select length based on insulation thickness plus deck embedment, and confirm your single-ply membrane system accepts polymer fasteners.
