Accent Building Materials zinc plated modified truss screws are #8 fasteners with a low-profile modified truss head, supplied in bulk boxes for roofing and general construction. The line comes in two lengths: 1 in. (6,500 per box) and 1-1/4 in. (5,000 per box). Choose the 1-1/4 in. screw when fastening through thicker underlayment or sheathing layers.
Fit and Compatibility
Use with #8-gauge-compatible drivers and standard drill or screw gun setups. Length choice depends on the material thickness being fastened; the 1-1/4 in. screw suits deeper penetration.
