Moisture and debris are the main killers of stored portable generators, so a fitted canvas cover is cheap insurance for a job-site or standby unit. Let the generator cool completely before covering it, and keep fuel system vents per the engine manual. Pair the cover with a dry, elevated storage spot for maximum engine and winding protection.
Never cover or enclose a generator while it is running or still hot; running generators must remain outdoors with adequate ventilation due to carbon monoxide risk.
Protect your generator from moisture, dirt, and damage with the Winco heavy tailored canvas generator cover.
