Warm cream and caramel tones pair well with caramel-flecked cores, but standard industrial-grade particleboard is fine once a backer sheet is applied. Dry-lay the sheet and mark cutouts before any adhesive touches the surface. When postforming the nose, heat and roll evenly to keep the veining aligned across the radius.
Contact adhesive fumes are flammable, so work in a ventilated area away from ignition sources and wear gloves and eye protection when cutting laminate.
