This 5-gallon pail of SpecSeal Smoke 'N' Sound Acoustical Spray is a white, water-based acrylic latex spray for static or minimally dynamic linear joints and gaps in non-rated barriers. It applies with airless spray equipment or a brush for touch-ups and covers 12.8 sq ft per gallon at 1/8 in. thickness.

Coverage is 12.8 sq ft per gallon at 1/8 in. thickness, so a 5-gallon pail covers about 64 sq ft at that build. Apply with airless spray equipment for large areas or a brush for small applications and touch-ups.
Fit and Compatibility
Formulated to adhere to all common construction surfaces and contains no solvents that might adversely affect plastic pipes or cable jackets. For fire-rated assemblies, note this spray is designed for non-rated barriers; STI firestop products are sold separately.
