The S-5-Q clamp (“Q” represents the shape of the clamp) allows for the attachment of snow guards and other heavy-duty applications to metal roof panels featuring large, round (such as Zip-Rib®, BEMO, Kalzip®) and similar “bulb” seam configurations. 

The Q will also fit smaller, “bulb-shaped” profiles (dia ≤ 0.75”; 19 mm) if the seam is not properly closed. (Also, check out the more cost-effective S-5-Z for these applications when seams are properly closed).

Specifications:

  • Fits all of the profiles the Z fits and also accommodates standing seam metal roof panels with large, round “bulb” seam configurations up to 1.14” (29 mm) in diameter
  • Heavy-duty applications, such as snow retention
  • Two T-30 Torx round-point setscrews (Torx bit tip provided)
  • One M8 bolt included

 

It is also available in the smaller S-5-Q (Mini).

 


    The S-5-Q clamp, with its distinct, smaller "bulb-shaped" design, ensures a snug fit on profiles not fully closed, ideal for secure installations on Double folded 16 & 20 oz copper standing seams.
