The S-5-N (“N” stands for nail strip) is a non-penetrating, standing seam metal roof (SSMR) clamp.

S-5! introduces the new and improved S-5-N clamps. The new design features an innovative insert that ensures a superior fit for new and wider nail strip profiles as well as older ones.

The S-5-N (standard) clamp is the best choice for snow retention and other heavy and load-critical applications. It is designed for use on the most popular 1" nail strip metal roofs, including: Taylor Metal's Easy LockTM, ASC Building Products' Skyline Roofing®, McElroy Metal's Meridian, New Tech Machinery's FF100, Schlebach 1" Nail Strip, and roofing types with similar profiles.

Specifications:

Angled setscrews for easy installation; no special tools required
Special design for “nail-flange” SSR profiles ≤ 1” (25 mm) in height and with a base of rib dimension < .82” (20 mm)
Clamp insert facilitates best-fit without damage to panel seam
Use for heavy-duty applications, such as snow retention
Two T-30 Torx round-point setscrews (Torx bit tip provided)
One M8 bolt included

It is also available in the smaller S-5-N (Mini).

The S-5-N nail strip, measuring 1 inch (25 mm), is designed for secure attachment to metal roofs, offering a reliable solution for mounting without penetrating the roof surface.
