Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Keep a tube of Ready Patch in the service truck for emergency leak calls, since it is one of the few sealants that can be worked into a leaking seam mid-storm. Because it is fibered and thick, it bridges cracks better than standard caulk, but for permanent repairs follow up with a properly coated or flashing repair once conditions allow. Wipe debris off the failure point first so the patch keys in, even on wet surfaces.
Roof repair during active rain means wet, slippery surfaces; use fall protection and never work on a roof during lightning or high winds.
Order Progressive Materials RP 300 Ready Patch and be ready to stop leaks whenever they strike.
