Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Aluminum insect screen is the workhorse choice for replacement window screens and patio doors: it holds its shape better than fiberglass and resists sagging. Match the roll width to your widest common opening so offcuts can serve smaller windows. Use new spline and a spline roller for a taut, wrinkle-free fit.
Cut edges of aluminum screen mesh are sharp; wear gloves and eye protection when cutting and fitting.
Order Phifer Bug Screen aluminum insect screen rolls in 48 in., 60 in. or 72 in. widths for your next screen repair.
