Origin Point Galvanized Hardware Cloth 24 in. x 50 ft. Roll with 1/4 in. x 1/4 in. Mesh
This Origin Point hardware cloth is a 24-inch-high, 50-foot-long roll of 23-gauge galvanized steel mesh with 1/4 in. x 1/4 in. openings. The fine weave suits screen door and window guards, soil sieving, small-pet cages, and gutter or chimney guards. One 50 ft. roll is the sell unit; attach it with staples or clips to posts or frames.
Key Features:
- Fine 1/4 in. mesh: The 1/4 in. x 1/4 in. openings block small pests and keep out debris.
- Long 50 ft. roll: A 50 ft. length covers long runs with fewer seams than short rolls.
- Galvanized steel: The wire is galvanized for corrosion resistance in home, shop and garden use.
- Light 23-gauge wire: The 23-gauge wire is economical and easy to cut and shape.
- Multi-purpose: Use for screen door and window guards, soil-screening sieves, small pet cages, and gutter or chimney guards.
- Shop-and-home value: Positioned as economical hardware cloth for general shop and home projects.

Coverage & How Much You Need:
One 24 in. x 50 ft. roll covers 50 linear feet at a 2 ft. height. For guards or screens, cut panels to fit each opening; one roll yields many small panels.
Fit and Compatibility:
Attach to wood or metal frames, window openings, gutter edges, or fence posts with staples, J-clips or wire ties (sold separately). The 1/4 in. fine mesh is not intended for large-animal containment; choose 1/2 in. or larger mesh for poultry pens.

Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Choose 1/4 in. mesh when the goal is exclusion of very small pests, debris screening, or ventilation guards, and pair it with a rigid frame for support. At 23 gauge the wire is light and easy to form but less chew-resistant than heavier gauges, so use 19-gauge 1/2 in. cloth where animals press against it. The 50 ft. roll keeps seams to a minimum on long runs.
Cut edges of fine wire mesh are sharp; wear gloves and eye protection while cutting and installing.
