Order the cut direction to match the curve axis: kerfs must run perpendicular to the bend. Support the back of the sheet against a curved form or ribs and glue every land; the kerfs close as the board wraps, so a laminate or veneer skin hides them completely. For tight radii on column wraps and serpentine work, I drop to 6mm; use 3/8 in. or 9mm only for sweeping curves.
MDF dust is fine and abrasive: wear a respirator, eye protection and hearing protection when cutting or sanding, and work in a ventilated shop.
