The Milcor RD-1 is a 36 in. x 30 in. ladder-access roof hatch with a mill finish .090 aluminum curb and cover, a .063 aluminum liner, and 1 in. insulation (Styrofoam on RD-1). The cover opens easily to 90 degrees and includes a lift assist, slam latch with interior and exterior handles, and padlock hasps. One hatch per order.
Fit and Compatibility
This hatch provides ladder access through flat roofing and pairs with the roofing membrane and counterflashing system on the roof; integral curb counterflashing accepts field flashing. Flashing materials and roof membrane are sold separately.
