Size, base and colour

A common rule of thumb: the room length plus width in feet gives the diameter in inches. A 12 × 14 ft dining room takes about 26 in.

E26 is the standard medium base; E12 candelabra is the small base on many chandeliers and sconces.

Colour temperature
2700K is the warm light of a classic bulb, 3000K a little whiter, 4000K neutral and 5000K daylight.
Ensure the electric current is off. Clean the metal with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid metal polish. Wash the glass shades by hand with mild soap and a cloth.
