JM MinWool® Sound Attenuation Fire Batt (SAFB) is an unfaced mineral wool batt designed for sound control and fire resistance in wall, ceiling, and floor assemblies. Made from inorganic fibers derived from volcanic rock, it’s noncombustible and moisture-resistant, helping improve wall assembly STC ratings by up to 10 dB.
