Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Edge caulk is the finishing step on cover-tape seams and flashing details, sealing the tape's open edge against water intrusion and long-term weathering. Apply a continuous, toolable bead along the tape edge after the tape has been rolled. In cold weather, let the tube acclimate indoors before use for proper tooling.
Consult the product safety data sheet and wear appropriate personal protective equipment when handling sealants.
