Frequently Asked Questions
Is this one gate or a pair of separate fence panels?
It is one Heritage gate assembly made up of two opening leaves that meet at the latch.
What fence system does it fit?
Use the gate with the FORGERIGHT Heritage no-dig fence system and its matching posts and stakes.
Are posts and stakes included?
No. The Heritage posts and stakes are sold separately.
How wide is the gate opening?
The Heritage installation diagram specifies a 46.4-inch gate unit opening between posts. Use the diagram when laying out the gate rather than the nominal 4-foot designation.
How are the gate leaves aligned?
The guide uses the lower hinge adjustment collars for vertical alignment and calls for about 1/2 inch between the gate leaves at the latch.
Product Expert Notes
Position the gate before laying out adjoining panels. Check both leaf alignment and the center latch gap during installation. The matching open-picket profile keeps the access point visually consistent with the Heritage fence.
Complete a coordinated Heritage fence layout with the matching two-leaf gate.
