Guide

How many squares

  1. 1

    Squares

Siding is ordered by the square: 100 sq ft of wall. Add each wall’s width × height, then subtract the openings you will not cover.

  2. 2

    Waste

Add 10% for a simple wall and 15% for gables and many corners.

  3. 3

    The rest of the wall

House wrap, starter, J-channel, corners and soffit are their own line items.
