Coverage & How Much You Need:
One bundle of 100 pieces lays a full course of step flashing along roof-to-wall intersections. With one piece per shingle course (about 5 to 8 inches of rise each), a bundle covers roughly 40 to 65 linear feet of wall intersection depending on shingle exposure.
Fit and Compatibility:
Works with standard asphalt shingle installations at dormers, chimneys and sidewall intersections; pair with Appleton Supply roll or chimney flashing for complete details. Fasteners and sealants sold separately.

Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Prebent step flashing eliminates inconsistent field bends, which is where most sidewall leaks start. Weave each piece into the shingle course with the vertical leg against the wall and never nail through a piece that will be overlapped. Use .012 in. galvanized for typical asphalt shingle work and step up to heavier stock for long-run exposure.
Galvanized flashing edges are sharp; wear gloves when separating and installing pieces, and follow ladder safety on the roof.
