Guide
Before you order a tub
- 1
Drain side
Alcove tubs come with the drain on the left or the right, as seen facing the tub. The listing says which.
- 2
The alcove
Measure the opening wall to wall; a 60 in tub needs a 60 in alcove plus room to set it.
- 3
The faucet
The tub and shower valve is sold separately unless the listing says it is included.
Installation is simple and does not require extensive remodeling. The bathtub comes with adjustable leveling feet and a flexible drain hose. You will need plumbing hardware and a freestanding tub filler (not included).
