If the device is applied immediately after the sting or bite, the symptoms can usually be prevented completely. Even if the device is used slightly later, the symptoms can still subside sooner. This device is FDA cleared and Dermatologist tested to be safe and effective for ages 2 and up. It is free of chemicals and is suitable for pregnant women, children and allergy suffers. The Bite Away is the size of a pen and comes with 2 AA batteries to power the device, so it is ready to go at any time.
