Details & specifications.

From the maker · the maker’s description

Leviton dual-function AFCI/GFCI Circuit Breakers provide overload, short-circuit, arc-fault, and ground-fault protection and feature an all plug-on design. All hot and neutral wires terminate at custom lugs in the panel, not at the circuit breaker, so the entire panel can be wired without circuit breakers installed. Branch circuit breakers can be easily plugged on at final installation. They also feature color indicators in the handle and intuitive LEDs to easily see operational status at-a-glance. For applications up to 60 Amp when using copper wire or 50 Amp when using aluminum wire.

  • California residents
  • Simple - features an all plug-on design - no wiring to the circuit breaker
  • Intuitive - color indicators in the handle to easily see operational status at-a-glance
  • Approachable - contemporary aesthetic and rocker style handle are more user friendly
  • Safe - exceeds UL requirements for circuit breakers, making sure it will not reset if fault protection is compromised
  • Compatible only with Leviton load centers

Guide

Before you buy a breaker

  1. 1

    Match the panel

Find the brand and series on the label inside the panel door. Homeline and QO are both Square D, and they do not interchange.

  2. 2

    Match the wire

    The breaker protects the wire. For copper: 14 AWG on 15 A, 12 AWG on 20 A, 10 AWG on 30 A.

  3. 3

    Protection

Standard, AFCI (arc fault), GFCI (ground fault) or dual function. Your local code says which circuits need which.

  4. 4

    Tandem and quad

Two circuits in one space, only in the slots the panel label allows.
