MMI Door Majestic Steel Front Door unit comes with our MSystem 2-warranty on both the Door Component and the Base Prehung System, as well as a 10-year warranty on the Glass Lite. All of our Majestic Steel doors are galvanized to resist rust and corrosion, are comprised of 24-Gauge, high quality steel with 22-Gauge steel stiles and rails for additional strength and security and come with a 1-piece, high density polystyrene core delivering excellent insulation allowing it to meet or exceed current energy code standards. Common door size is 32 in. x 80 in. Unit dimension is 33.5 in. x 81 in. The suggested rough opening is 34 in. x 81.5 in. This unit comes with a 4-9/16 in. wide primed composite frame.

What to measure before ordering

    Identify what you are replacing.

    A slab is the door panel. A prehung unit includes a frame. Record whether you need a slab or a complete unit, and check exactly what the selected product includes.

    Measure the opening and the frame.

    Record the width and height in several places, plus the wall or jamb depth. Keep rough-opening measurements separate from the existing door's dimensions. Include the units with every measurement.

  3. 3

    Confirm the swing and the exact model.

    Note which side the hinges sit on, the side you are viewing from, and whether the door swings toward or away from you. Confirm handing terminology and required clearances against the manufacturer's documentation for the selected SKU.
