It features high, medium, low speed, and off buttons, and includes a full-range light dimmer when used with dimmable light bulbs. When using non-dimming bulbs, the remote control turns the light off/on. An ideal replacement for a wall switch or pull chain control, this unit can be used handheld or wall-mounted with the wall bracket included.This remote control features wireless operation and it can be operated from a distance of up to 40 ft. once the receiver is wired to the fan at the ceiling. The receiver (fits most fans) and the remote uses one 9V battery (included). UL/CUL-listed, this remote control can handle a fan maximum of 1.25 amps and a light maximum of 190 watts.
