Garnet abrasive is a quality, fast cutting abrasive similar to Aluminum Oxide but at a lower cost. Garnet's angular shape stays sharp and leaves a flat finish. Garnet is an excellent choice for surface preparation prior to painting hard metal surfaces. Garnet is typically used in a blast cabinet or where the abrasive is being recycled. This abrasive can be used for glass etching.
