At the heart of the Murray offering is the Rock Solid load center - designed for those customers that prefer an out-board neutral design and metal base pan for installing breakers. The Rock Solid load center and Murray products remain an important part of the Siemens portfolio. Our famous Swiss Cheese style neutral bars provide multiple 1/0 connection points. All units include factory installed group bars and isolated neutral.

  • All devices are convertible from main lug to main breaker or vice versa with the addition of main breaker or main lug kits
  • With the use of the included bonding strap, ground bars and neutral bars can be bonded for service entrance applications
  • Mounting tabs on the trim hold it in place on the load center, freeing up both hands to drive the trim screws

Before you buy a breaker

  1. 1

    Match the panel

    Find the brand and series on the label inside the panel door. Homeline and QO are both Square D, and they do not interchange.

  2. 2

    Match the wire

    The breaker protects the wire. For copper: 14 AWG on 15 A, 12 AWG on 20 A, 10 AWG on 30 A.

  3. 3

    Protection

    Standard, AFCI (arc fault), GFCI (ground fault) or dual function. Your local code says which circuits need which.

  4. 4

    Tandem and quad

    Two circuits in one space, only in the slots the panel label allows.
