It meets the standards of ASTM D1784 and D2729 and is commonly used in sewer, landscape drainage, and leaching system piping for septic tank fields. Its smooth internal surface allows for minimal flow restriction. However, it should not be used for pressure applications and has a maximum working temperature of 140°F.
