A 26-gauge Galvalume gooseneck with shingle base is the workhorse choice for vent-stack flashing on shingle roofs. The plastic netting keeps birds and debris out without the rust risk of metal mesh. Match the eight available colors to your roof when aesthetics matter, or use mill finish where the gooseneck is concealed.
Metal flashing edges can be sharp; wear gloves when handling, and follow roof safety practices during installation.
