Guide
Plan the run
- 1
Panels
Divide the run length by the panel width; posts go between every panel and at every corner, end and gate.
- 2
Gates
A walk gate is usually 4 ft wide; a drive gate 10 to 12 ft. Gate posts are often heavier than line posts.
- 3
Height
Check the local height limit for the yard the fence faces.
This FORTRESS Athens walk gate is professionally welded and comes fully assembled, simplifying the installation process. However, it requires separate hardware for installation, such as model #430090 latch and hinge kit.
