Plan the run

Panels
Divide the run length by the panel width; posts go between every panel and at every corner, end and gate.

Gates
A walk gate is usually 4 ft wide; a drive gate 10 to 12 ft. Gate posts are often heavier than line posts.

Height
Check the local height limit for the yard the fence faces.
Simply place the driver over the top of your T-Post or U-Post, lift and release to drive the post into the ground. Repeat until it reaches the desired depth.
