Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
The 2 ft x 4 ft format is ideal where roof access is restricted or the layout has many penetrations, since small panels produce less offcut waste. Order 1 in. thickness where the specification calls for a standard cover board over insulation. Keep bundles wrapped and dry until installation.
Cutting perlite board generates dust: wear a dust mask and eye protection, and lift the 64 lb bundle safely.
