Henry 183 is a yellow resin-coated woven fiberglass repair fabric with a 20 x 10 open mesh, made of inert, flexible pure glass filaments with 75 lb/in. tensile strength. It is available in 4 in. x 150 ft. or 6 in. x 25 ft. rolls, sold per roll. It is compatible with asphalt and coal tar cements and coatings, emulsions, solvent-based and hot-melt types.
Coverage & How Much You Need
The 4 in. x 150 ft. roll yields 150 linear feet of 4-inch-wide reinforcement, while the 6 in. x 25 ft. roll yields 25 linear feet of 6-inch width. Size rolls to the seam or crack length, allowing slight extra length at each end of the repair.
Fit and Compatibility
Embeds in Henry and other asphalt or coal tar cements and coatings, emulsions, solvent-based and hot-melt types. Use with compatible roof cements and coatings; the cement or coating is sold separately.
