  • Door thickness and backset for locks (often 2-3/8 or 2-3/4 in.)

How to calculate quantity

Count each door by the function it needs — passage, privacy, keyed entry or deadbolt — then pulls and knobs per drawer and door, and fasteners at the manufacturer’s spacing.

Quick answers

How do I measure the backset for a door lock?

Measure from the edge of the door to the center of the bore hole. Common backsets are 2-3/8 in. and 2-3/4 in., and many locks adjust to both. Check the listing.

How do I measure cabinet pulls?

Measure center to center between the two screw holes. Replacement pulls need the same spacing unless you plan to fill and redrill the holes.

What is the difference between passage, privacy and keyed entry locks?

Passage knobs and levers do not lock. Privacy locks from the inside, for bedrooms and bathrooms. Keyed entry locks with a key from the outside. Listings state the function.

Is there a minimum order?

Where do you ship, and how is delivery charged?

Super Arbor ships to the 48 contiguous states. Delivery and taxes are calculated at checkout.
