From the maker · Wayne Dalton’s description
This product is ideal for homeowners seeking a visually appealing and low-maintenance garage door. Wayne Dalton's Classic Steel Model 9100 boasts a three-layer construction with built-in struts for increased durability and resistance. The panels are pinch-resistant, and the door comes with the exclusive TorqueMaster® Plus counterbalance spring system, which securely contains springs in a steel tube and provides anti-drop protection. Standard foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation helps enhance thermal efficiency, reduce outside noise, and ensure quieter operation. Note that installation is not included with this purchase. The single garage door is made to order in a taupe colonial raised panel design with clear windows. The three-layer construction (steel/insulation/ToughGard™ backer) includes a bottom weather seal for draft and debris protection. Enjoy additional features such as the limited lifetime warranty, standard track with a minimum headroom requirement of 11 inches without an opener or 13.5 inches with an opener.

Guide
What to measure before ordering
These notes are a planning aid. Product names, photos and shared descriptions do not confirm fit. Check the selected SKU, manufacturer specifications and installer measurements before ordering.
- 1
Identify what you are replacing.
A slab is the door panel. A prehung unit includes a frame. Record whether you need a slab or a complete unit, and check exactly what the selected product includes.
- 2
Measure the opening and the frame.
Record the width and height in several places, plus the wall or jamb depth. Keep rough-opening measurements separate from the existing door's dimensions. Include the units with every measurement.
- 3
Confirm the swing and the exact model.
Note which side the hinges sit on, the side you are viewing from, and whether the door swings toward or away from you. Confirm handing terminology and required clearances against the manufacturer's documentation for the selected SKU.
