Details & specifications.

From the maker · Wayne Dalton’s description

The Wayne Dalton Classic Steel Model 9100 garage door is an ideal choice for homeowners seeking a visually appealing and low-maintenance option. It boasts a three-layer construction with integrated struts for enhanced rigidity and strength, as well as pinch-resistant panels. Additionally, the door comes equipped with the TorqueMaster® Plus, a unique counterbalance spring system that securely contains springs within a steel tube and offers anti-drop protection. The inclusion of foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation as a standard feature can improve thermal efficiency, reduce street noise, and promote quieter door operation. Please note that installation is not included with this purchase.

Guide

What to measure before ordering

These notes are a planning aid. Product names, photos and shared descriptions do not confirm fit. Check the selected SKU, manufacturer specifications and installer measurements before ordering.

  1. 1

    Identify what you are replacing.

A slab is the door panel. A prehung unit includes a frame. Record whether you need a slab or a complete unit, and check exactly what the selected product includes.

  2. 2

Measure the opening and the frame.

Record the width and height in several places, plus the wall or jamb depth. Keep rough-opening measurements separate from the existing door's dimensions. Include the units with every measurement.

  3. 3

Confirm the swing and the exact model.

Note which side the hinges sit on, the side you are viewing from, and whether the door swings toward or away from you. Confirm handing terminology and required clearances against the manufacturer's documentation for the selected SKU.
