What to check before you buy

How to calculate quantity
Measure each doorway, edge and wall run in feet, divide by the length per piece and round up. Add a piece on long runs for cuts.

What is the difference between a T-moulding and a reducer?
A T-moulding joins two floors at the same height, or crosses a doorway. A reducer steps from your floor down to a lower one, such as vinyl or concrete.
What covers the gap where the floor meets the wall?
Quarter round or shoe moulding covers the expansion gap along the wall.
