Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Use this vent wherever an exhaust duct must terminate through the roof and a quiet, weather-tight cap matters, such as an upstairs laundry. Keep duct runs short and smooth for best dryer performance, and inspect the flapper periodically so lint buildup does not restrict airflow.
Roof-mounted exhaust penetrations must be sealed and flashed correctly to prevent leaks; follow installation instructions and use fall protection when working on the roof.
Order the Duraflo Roof Dryer Vent with Flapper & Attached Collar for a quiet, weather-proof roof exhaust termination.
