Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Use roughly four Shutter-Loks per standard shutter, placed near the corners, and keep the 030 Paintable version on hand when a job calls for a custom color. Because they press in, align all holes before seating the first fastener so the shutter stays square. For heavy shutters or windy exposures, follow the shutter manufacturer's fastener count guidance.
Verify the wall behind the cladding can accept the fastener and use appropriate fall protection when working on ladders.
Pick up a 12-pack of TopShield Shutter-Lok Fasteners and hang shutters in minutes.
