Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Pick the drain size to match the existing plumbing outlet — 3 and 4 inch cover most retrofit situations, with 5 and 6 inch for larger tributary areas. The Vortex Breaker makes SpeedTite a strong choice where chugging or sluggish drainage has been an issue. Set the drain level with the membrane and follow the membrane manufacturer's clamping and flashing procedure.
Follow local plumbing code for drain sizing and quantity, and confirm proper membrane flashing at the drain to prevent leaks.
Upgrade your drainage with an OMG SpeedTite Roof Drain in the size your roof needs.
