Measure each wall at counter height and at the top of the wall cabinets; use the shorter number. Note every window, door and appliance opening.

Standard sizes
Base cabinets are 34-1/2 in tall and 24 in deep; wall cabinets 12 in deep. Widths run in 3 in steps, and a filler strip closes the gap at a wall.

Handing
A single-door cabinet lists which side it hinges on; many are reversible. Check the listing before ordering a corner or a sink base.
The cabinet comes fully assembled, making it easy to install into your existing kitchen setup. Depending on your wall type, appropriate screws and anchors will be needed.
