Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Trim coil is the go-to stock for one-off flashing, soffit caps and window wraps where standard flashing profiles do not fit. Because this coil is painted on both sides, you can form it without worrying about which face shows. At 25-gauge, it bends cleanly on a hand brake; choose PVC coating for added scuff resistance or smooth polyester when a flatter painted look is preferred. Order enough length for the whole job from the same dye lot for a consistent color match.
Cut edges of aluminum coil stock are sharp, so wear cut-resistant gloves and eye protection when unrolling, slitting and forming trim coil.
