Expert Verdict — Reviewed by the SuperArbor Pro Desk
Order hip & ridge in the same blend as your Cap Shake field panels so weathering stays uniform across the roof. Lay ridge from the eave up on hips and from ridge ends inward, keeping consistent overlap per the installation guide. Blend pieces from multiple cartons on long ridges to distribute color variation naturally.
Work on hips and ridges requires roof access at height; use proper fall protection and secure pieces before fastening to prevent sliding.
