Gibraltar's Eave Flashing is applied to the eave to protect the roof deck and direct rain water away from the fascia. Eave Flashing is 1 of the first components to be installed, making it your last line of defense against water infiltration. Without Eave Flashing protection, water can wick up under your roofing and begin to rot the fascia and roof deck. Eave Flashing can also prevent water from getting behind the gutter which can lead to peeling paint, rusted nails and rotting wood.
