11 Qt. Coco Coir Growing Media Brick

The coco fiber coir growing medium is great as a potting soil on its own or to use with perlite, vermiculite and fertilizer. Compressed in an easy to carry brick form, the block expands to 20 Gal. once you add water. Made from sustainable coconut husk particles and fiber, the coir block has neutral pH which leads to stronger root growth, increased moisture retention which means you have to water it less and the lignin's in coir encourage beneficial bacteria growth and suppress weed growth. It's high water holding capacity and moisture retention makes it an ideal potting soil for hydroponics, container gardening and landscaping. The low EC (electrical conductivity) ensures high yield.
