Bed the inner edge in high-temp silicone so the seal survives flue gas temperatures. Choose the 8 in. size only for 8 in. pipe; oversizing a collar prevents a proper seal.

Use only high-temperature silicone sealant near vent pipe, and take appropriate roof-work fall-protection precautions during installation.

Complete your DuraVent B-Vent roof penetration with the correctly sized aluminum storm collar.

https://superarbor.io/products/duravent-aluminum-b-vent-storm-collar-mill-finish-3-in-to-8-in-pipe-sizes
